These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and your participation in any Retreat, Course, or Session (“Event”). By accessing or using the Site or participating in an Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access or use the Site or participate in an Event.

These Terms are effective as of the date set forth above.

3. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

We provides the Site and Events “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or server that makes it available is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or your participation in an Event, including but not limited to:

  • Errors or omissions in the Site’s content;
  • Delays or interruptions in the availability of the Site;
  • Any viruses or other harmful components that may be transmitted through the Site;
  • Loss of data or information;
  • Any damages arising from your reliance on the information contained on the Site;
  • Any damages arising from your participation in an Event.

You agree to assume all risk and liability associated with your use of the Site and your participation in an Event. 

4. Rules of Conduct

a. Retreats: By participating in a Retreat, you agree to abide by the following rules of conduct:

  • Respect all instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
  • Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by staff.
  • Abstain from any behavior that may be disruptive or disrespectful to others.
  • Refrain from using illegal substances or engaging in any illegal activities.
  • Be mindful of your personal belongings and take responsibility for their safety.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

b. Courses and Sessions: By participating in a Course or Session, you agree to abide by the following rules of conduct:

  • Respect all instructors and fellow participants.
  • Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by staff.
  • Abstain from any behavior that may be disruptive or disrespectful to others.
  • Refrain from using illegal substances or engaging in any illegal activities.
  • Be mindful of your personal belongings and take responsibility for their safety.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

5. User Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
  • Access or attempt to access any other user’s account without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers connected to the Site.
  • Transmit any viruses or other harmful components.
  • Transmit or post any information that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site or participation in an Event after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of

7. Event Cancellations and Refunds

  • Retreats: Refunds are offered if we cancel a retreat. No refunds are offered if participants cancel, though they may request a refund with a specific reason. However, we are not obligated to grant such requests.
  • Courses and Sessions: Refunds are offered if we cancel a course or session. No refunds are offered if participants cancel, though they may request a refund with a specific reason. However, we are not obligated to grant such requests.

8. Payment and Billing

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete payment information.
  • We accept payments through bank transfer and a secure payment portal.
  • You understand that you are responsible for any fees associated with your payment method.

9. Intellectual Property

The content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Amman Advaita or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content on the Site without the express written permission of Amman Advaita.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Goa, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Goa, India. 

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Amman Advaita concerning your use of the Site and your participation in Events.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be struck and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Waiver

No waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective unless in writing and signed by Termayoga.
