Meditation, Yoga, and Awareness

The system of Yoga is complete, without division.

Right effort and direct practice builds the foundation of physical strength, stamina, and flexibility.

Yoga Asana, without naming a specific style, is a complete system that rejuvenates joint fluidity, fascia elasticity, nervous system vitality, blood circulation, and the proper functioning of organs and hormones. It is a path of precision and clarity. This depth of engagement strengthens not just the muscles and joints, but also the organs, the nervous system, and the mind’s capacity to focus.

To restore the body, yoga props such as blocks, belts, bolsters, and blankets are used to support the body, and deepen awareness. Restoration offers therapeutic benefits for injuries, chronic imbalances, and postural issues

Yoga awakens the intelligence of every cell, leading you step by step toward balance, vitality, and self-knowledge.

Through Pranayama we return to the subtle rhythms that carry us through life, often unnoticed.

These sessions include foundational breath practices, breath ratios, and the use of bandhas (internal locks) to channel prana inwards. The nervous system begins to recalibrate. Patterns of stress begin to unwind. What remains is presence—clear, stable, and alive. From this space we begin to resonate the seed syllables that form into mantra, looking clearly at the original components of sound and language.

The ancient texts guide us in the direction of the clear path, and their study satisfies the logical seeking mind.

Patanjali Yoga Sutra: As the basis of the meditative practice, we will dive deep into the inner world and move towards the state of samadhi.

Satipatthana Sutra: Here, you will be offered a gentle introduction to the core frameworks of Buddhist thought—impermanence (anicca), unsatisfactoriness (dukkha), and non-self (anatta), and how to meditate on the four foundations of mindfulness.

Vijnana Bhairav Tantra: The tantric meditations, tradition, and philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism will be explored and practiced.

In Sound Meditation we use the very powerful sense of hearing, and the fundamental particle movement of the universe – the vibration, to restore harmony across tissues, nerves, emotions, and spirit.

The resonance of the Singing bowls penetrates fluid, fascia, and bone—resonating with the inner landscape to release tension and recalibrate the nervous system.

In TCM systems such as Acupuncture, Qigong, & Taichi the body’s natural awareness is harnessed to bring attention to Qi points across the body’s meridian networks. This facilitates a deep healing of elemental and organ Qi balance, and is a therapy for chronic diseases and conditions of both body and mind.
